Double Layer Pre Heater for 3 Layer Corrugated Cardboard Production Line

Double Layer preheater is also called 2 layer preheater

Double layer pre heater has 2 layer of pre heating cylinder. And it is not have big difference to single layer preheater. Single layer preheater with only 1 pre heating cylinder, the double layer preheater with 2 pre heating culinder in 2 layer, upper layer and lower layer. Normally, the 2 cylinders are same diameter, because the production line is in same speed, so for the double layer preheater, it with 2 same diameter pre heating cylinder.

Double layer preheater is used in 3 layer production line only

The double layer preheater is only for 5 layer corrugated cardboard production line, because this machine is located between the conveyor bridge and gluing machine. In the production line, the single facer will produce 2 layer corrugated paperboard and up feed to the conveyor bridge, and then the 2 layer corrugated cardboard and draft paper will go into gluing machine for pasting, before pasting, need pre heater to control the moisture of the 2 layer corrugated cardboard and the draft paper. Then 1 layer of preheating cylinder for the 2 layer corrugated paperboard, and 1 layer of preheating cylinder for the draft paper. After double layer pre heater, the papers can be good status for pasting, and then it can make sure the 3 layer corrugated cardboard in good quality.

Heating method

Normally, all preheating cylinder adopt steam heating, because the minimum diameter of preheating cylinder is 600mm, it is big size, so steam heating can guarantee the heating effect on the preheating cylinder, then it can work well.

Sometime, customers prefer oil heating production line, then we will offer small size preheating cylinder, its diameter is 320mm only, oil heating can meet the request of heating effect, but the production line speed is only 45-60m, can not be fast. And the small cylinder is fixed on the gluing machine.
