Function of conveyor bridge of corrugated paperboard production line
Conveyor bridge is an essential part of multiply corrugated cardboard production line, its function is to store the single face corrugated cardboard which is from single facer, then the single face corrugated paperboard will store on the conveyor bridge and wait to go into the preheating machine and gluing machine. Why we need the conveyor bridge to store the single face cardboard, because the production line is a big and complex line which is combined lots of single machines, all single machines have to be work synchronously. For keeping each machines of corrugated cardboard production line work well to each other, the production line will adjust the working rhythm by the conveyor bridge.
Some single face corrugated cardboard production line do not need the conveyor bridge, that is only for the low speed production line, normally their working speed is only 60-80m/minute, the 2 ply corrugated cardboard which is from the single facer will put on the ground and waiting to go to the sheet cutter. If higher speed, the 2 ply corrugated cardboard will be more and more then it will influence on the production line working. So when the single face corrugated cardboard production line speed is higher than 80m/minute, we also need to equip an conveyor bridge on it.
Structure of conveyor bridge of corrugated cardboard production line
The conveyor bridge looks like a steel structure more, it is made by profile steel. Normally it is made by 360 channel steel, 200H steel, 100H steel, etc. The profile size will be according to the machine design speed, higher speed machine will be with stronger profile steel to keep it running steady.
The store area of the conveyor bridge is covered by galvanized steel, it is with low friction to make sure no damage on the corrugated paperboard when they are store and pass on the conveyor bridge.
Normally, each conveyor bridge has 3 sets of ladders, they are for workers climbing on the conveyor bridge to check the status of corrugated paperboard which is on the conveyor bridge. Also, the conveyor bridge is equipped with 1.2 inch guard rail on both side to protect workers safety. The mesh pedal to ensure the workers safe and personnel easy operation.
There are lifting parts on each conveyor bridge, their function is for transporting the 2 layer corrugated cardboard which is from single facer upto the conveyor bridge. Each lifter with an independent drive system, also we adopt jointless belt for transporting the 2 layer corrugated cardboard to prevent any damage on the cardboard when transport.
Models of conveyor bridge of corrugated paperboard production line
We produce TQ20, TQ30,TQ40 conveyor bridge of corrugated paperboard production line to match difference speed production line. Just it is easy to understand their meaning of model, for example, TQ20, TQ means conveyor bridge, 20 means its design speed is 200m/minute, then we can know what is its design speed when we see its model name.
Sure each model of conveyor bridge have difference type to match to the difference layers of corrugated cardboard production line. For 2 layer corrugator line, it is only need a simple and small conveyor bridge. For 3 layer corrugated cardboard production line, each model of conveyor bridge have a single layer design. For 5 layer corrugated paperboard production line, each model have a 2 layer design. And for 7 layer corrugated carton production line, each model also have a 3 layer design.
