Single facer SF18 is the update model of SF320s. the old model is named by the flute roller diameter, because its diameter is 320mm, and it is suction type, so we named it SF320s, now we update this model, and named it by speed, because its design speed is 180m/minute, so we named it SF18. this is a most popular model in the world, because the most popular corrugated paperboard production line is in speed 150-180m/minute,and this production line adopts this model of single facer, so this single facer is also popular.
Single facer SF18 is the middle speed single facer corrugator
We have lots of model of single facer, the economic model is SF10 single facer, it is designed special for the carton factories which do not have enough budget for the new production line. The SF18 is higher speed model single facer. It is a little expensive than economic model SF10, and it equip in the corrugated paperboard production line which is in running speed 180m/minute.
We call this single facer middle speed model, in fact, in our factory, it is not the middle speed single facer, it still belong to the low speed range or low middle speed machine, In our factory, the lowest model is SF10, its speed is 100m/minute, then is the model SF290s, its speed is 120m/minute, after SF290, it is SF18 single afcer.

In China market, the single facer speed 250m/minute is the most popular model, but in the world, the most popular speed single facer is SF18. in the world range, most customer prefer the corrugated paperboard production line in 150-180m/minute, though it is a little slower speed than middle speed production line in China. For lots of customer from other countries, the production line in speed 250m/minute is too expensive, and they do not have so big market which require so big capacity of corrugated cartons, so the speed 150m/minute model is chose by most of customers. Also some customer buy more sets of this model production line, it is more easy for them to manage orders production. They can produce difference specifications corrugated cartons at same time. They buy 2 or 3 sets 150m/minute production line which are equipped SF18 single facer to be instead of high speed machines.
