High speed single facer are all cassette type.
The single facer mainly have two types, one is cassette type which can change flute roller simple, the other one is normal type which has a fix flute roller, if we want to change flute roller, it will take one day.
In my factory, we only produce single facer with fix flute roller in model SF10, SF10A, SF290, SF18, the highest speed for the fix flute roller single facer is 180m/minute, and higher speed single facer in my factory, they are all cassette type. High speed single facer in cassette type is the most reasonable design as per our experience so many years.
Cassette single facer is more popular because of the market is changing.
In the market, the flute type is not only A/C/B/E/F/G flute now, there are many sizes in each flute type. For example, only A flute, there lots of size of flute teeth pitch and height. So if the carton factory only have 1 or 2 flute type, it can not meet the inquire of market. The carton making factory has to prepare at least 3-4 types of flute, or it will loose orders. So the cassette single facer is more and more popular, it is simple to change flute roller, only 10 minutes, we can produce another type of flute for another order.

What does the flute type mean? The flute type is decided by the flute teeth height and pitch. Big flute type, normally with big teeth height and pitch, small flute type with a small teeth pitch and height. I offered you a example of flute type which are popular in market now
