Cassette type single facer SF320E simple to change flute type

Old design single facer

The traditional design of single facer, its flute roller is fixed inside of the single facer, one single facer can be with one pair of flute roller. So when the customer decide to buy a single facer, he has to make sure what is the flute size he need, because after producing, the flute roller is difficult to change. Normally we only change the flute roller when the old flute roller is wear-out, we have to change a pair of new flute roller, then we have to take 8-10 hours to disassemble the flute roller and fix the new flute roller.

Why do we need cassette single facer?

The problem for the carton manufacture is when they have orders with difference flute size, they can not produce. Because they can only produce one type of flute.

For example, if the carton manufacture have 1 set of 3 layer corrugated paperboard production line, in the line there is 1 set of single facer with C flute, then it can only produce C flute corrugated cardboard, but if an order request the flute B or E, it can not produce, they it will lost the order. If the carton manufacture have 1 set of 5 layer corrugated paperboard production line, in the line, there is 2 sets of single facer with flute B and flute C, then it can produce B flute and C flute, but when a customer want E flute or F flute, it can not produce again.

How to solve the problem, we have to have a design of single facer which can change flute roller easily. Then the cassette single facer is invited. When we buy 1 set of single facer, we can buy more cassete for the single facer. Like that, if the carton manufacture want to produce corrugated cardboard in 3 type of flute, then he can buy 1 set of cassette single facer with 3 cassette, each cassette with difference flute roller. Then when it start to produce, just pull out the cassette which is not need and push in the cassette which is needed. It is so simple, and only take 8-10 minutes to change the cassette.

SF320E is the middle speed cassette type single facer

SF320E is in design speed 180m/minute, it can be equipped in the corrugated paperboard production line in design speed 180m/minute. This is the lowest speed cassette single facer in our factory. The lower speed production line than 180m/minute is in design speed 120m/minute, it can not be equipped with cassette single facer, because we do not have any cassette single facer in speed 120m/minute.

SF320E is in economic price, and popular in the world. Normally it adopt tungsten carbide flute roller, unless customers prefer cheaper price, we can change the flute roller in ally steel, but we do not suggest that. For cost calculation, the tungsten carbide flute roller is much economic than ally steel flute roller.
